Surat Al-Baqarah Ayat 44. ۞ أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنْسَوْنَ أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ. Mengapa kamu suruh orang lain (mengerjakan) kebaktian, sedang kamu melupakan diri (kewajiban)mu Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs. ( But they rebelled against their Lord’s decree ) they refused to comply to their Lord’s command, ( and so the thunderbolt ) the cry of doom ( overtook them even while they gazed ) while looking at the torment descending upon them; Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali. 27 :44 She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds." Then ˹after your repentance˺ We would give you the upper hand over them and aid you with wealth and offspring, causing you to outnumber them. So do not fear the people; fear Me! Nor trade my revelations for a fleeting gain. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the disbelievers. (44) Indeed, We revealed the Torah, containing guidance and light, by which the prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah, made judgments for Jews. 86 . 87 . 88. “Take on only as much as you can do of good deeds, for the best of deeds is that which is done consistently, even if it is little.”.
